When we founded Data Coffee GmbH in 2021 as a spin-off from Fraunhofer IPA, our goal was to make the expertise and findings from years of research in the manufacturing sector—particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises—available in a simple and cost-effective way through our connector software. Over time, we have added further solutions for data collection, processing, and visualization. As a result, we are now able to use our expertise to carry out complete digitalization projects.
Our mission is to ensure that data benefits not only the most financially powerful companies, but also enables small and medium-sized enterprises to develop a sustainable data strategy so they too can reap the benefits of their data. However, intense economic pressure, a worsening shortage of skilled workers, and the ongoing complexity and uniqueness of each business make it nearly impossible for many companies to find the right partner for their digital transformation journey.

You can configure the desired data connections yourself in just a few minutes—it’s intuitive and incredibly easy—and modify them at any time. We can also assist with initial data preprocessing and the visualization of information. In addition, we have an extensive network of partners who can provide additional services, such as the distribution of complex data structures or multi-layered analytics using AI, the implementation of legal requirements for energy and/or product tracking, or secure data distribution.
